DUMP ALL UNUSED CLOTHES AND APPLIANCES ON OUR BIN
Many charities only ask for clothing in good condition, but SAPI wants to save all textiles from the landfill. Instead of separating your unwanted clothes into “donate” and “recycle” piles, you can put everything in one bag and call us to pick up or drop it off in one of our locations. We respect your time, and we want to make it easy as possible for you to find new homes for your clothes and house appliances in a socially and environmentally responsible way.
Through your clothing donations SEPI is able to reach out to the less privileged, single mothers, ex-convicts and unemployed who may need clothes and other items for free and for use. We also depending on the circumstances use the proceeds from donation resale to create an area of funding for SEPI to better expand their networks.
Below are just a few of the used clothing items that we gladly accept:
- Men’s clothing
- Women’s clothing
- Jackets, sweaters, and coats
In addition to clothing donations, we also accept:
- Used furniture
- Housewares, silverware, glassware, and dishes
- Electrical items like lamps, radios, computers, and clocks
- Media items like televisions, CD players, and stereos
- Bedding, linens, drapes, frames, vases, and other decorative items
No matter what your donation is, SEPI has made charitable giving easy and taken care of the question about where to donate:
- Our 24/7 storefront locations, hundreds of drop boxes, and Value Village stores are ready for your donation drop off.
- Request a standard donation pick up or a special collections pick up—these are fast, easy, and free of charge.
Is the donation tax deductible?
YES! Your donation is tax deductible. After your clothes are donated, you will be given a receipt totaling what we received and if possible value the items donated and at the end we will send you a form on your email or mail (tax form 098c) that will tell you exactly what you can claim on your taxes if interested.
If you are doing a drop-off or you have it for us to pick-up and you are interested in tax deduction form, write your full name, address and your contact. We will definitely get back to you after itemizing your donations for us to collect the remaining information for us to be able to draft out your form for tax deductions.
If you have clothes taking up space in your closet, and your appliances and equipment are taking up your garages and space in your house, why not donate them to a national or local charity and reap the tax benefits?
